TEX 'N' JEAN

Last two months, my ex boss got me to design a new logo and business card for his new wholesaling brand/business TEX 'N' JEAN. TEX 'N' JEAN logo is just a really clean and classic look. I was asked to provide different images for the background for the business cards because they wanted random collection to depict their fabrics - anything pretty =)

So the range below is what I came up with. Alot of them are my photos and I had heaps of fun doing this project. Unfortunately they only pick out one which is the above. It's a pity that the the other ones are not chosen, but I'm glad that I did this. I'm working on the website at the moment. So i'll blog later about that.

Origami Chair

This is a very old design of mine. Origami Chair won the student category of a COFA exhibition called "Reframe Rethink" competition (student category) 2006. It was inspired by folding origami units and stacking them together. The chair is made from 100% recycled material- rice bags, cardboard boxes and an unwanted foldable chair frame collected from the streets of my neighbourhood.

Ladakh Dress

I design this pattern almost 2 years ago in my previous design studio. Ladakh later put the print into production and this is the dress with my pattern on it!! So HAPPY that after 2 years, I eventually found my own design and it was one of the last ones. UBER EXCITED!!

Curvy

In this piece, I subconciously drew a couple of my "breast/best" friends and I as mad hatters. This purely accidental and sometimes i think is slightly freaky to realise after you created the piece. The owl one is me, the fish is meow and the cat is birdie. Enjoy People!
