Encrytic Card
Hello Fellowers! I don't design a lot of cards, but if I was to make one, it'll be something to be remembered. So I did, I made an encryptic card. I didn't provide a chart of letters so it was entirely up to the person to figure it out. If you have alot of time in your hands, maybe you could make an encryptic card for someone special. It'll drive them CRAZY!! I know I did... haha

What's on Your Mind Finalist
Hello everyone again. The results of the "What's on your mind?" train ticket competition is announced three months ago. Sorry everyone, really lazy to update this blog. Anyways, my artwork was in the top ten and it was printed onto a massive banner and displayed in Sydney Central Station. Although I didn't win, it was a worthwhile experience and they even send the banner to me for a souvenir. I think i'll make something out of it. I'll keep you guys posted.

Ticket Flower
Hi Everyone, this is a result of me having too much time in my hands. Give me a bunch of train tickets and i'll transform them into a flowerbed... This is actually a competition for city rail called "What's on your Mind?" comp and the winner gets a year's worth of travelling on city rail. Don't know whether it made to semi but lets hope so. It'll save a lot of $$. Wish me luck.

2007 IKEA CATALOGUE LAUNCH EXHIBITION
Hello Fellow friends, this is a little something I dug out from organising my hard drive - The 2007 IKEA Catalogue Launch Exhibition. IKEA had commissioned 13 design students, paired up and each group is to design the interiors of a room (kitchen, dining, closet, bedroom, library & kidsroom) using only IKEA products. My partner and I got the kidsroom - The Forest. We had a lot of fun in this project, we transformed the walls of the room into massive blackboards , leaf canopy (product of IKEA) decorated in strips of fabric, stuck toilet brushes on the ground as flowers. The whole project was 1.5 months but the exhibition only a 2 days which was a pity. I still remember all the stress I had to go through in meeting deadlines, but the whole experience was worth all the trouble. I'll definitely do it all over again.
Charlie Chester
Hello again fellow friends. I would like to introduce you Charlie Chester the cat. Yes I'm his mum, the person that gave birth to this very plush toy. He's in Taiwan at the moment with my fellow breast friend Meow as a birthday gift, as she also once had a little black kitten just like this one. At least this time she doesn't need to give this one away. If she does, I'll go to Taiwan and seek revenge. ha ha ha

Monster Maintenance Manual
Hello again! I drew these characters last year to enter a competition being run my murdoch books to illustrate their upcoming book 'Monster Maintenance Manual'. The winner get prize money..(i think) and gets the chance to draw up 70 monsters in the book. Unfortunately i didn't get in, but competitions are always a good motive, it makes me work... ha ha
TEX 'N' JEAN
Last two months, my ex boss got me to design a new logo and business card for his new wholesaling brand/business TEX 'N' JEAN. TEX 'N' JEAN logo is just a really clean and classic look. I was asked to provide different images for the background for the business cards because they wanted random collection to depict their fabrics - anything pretty =)
So the range below is what I came up with. Alot of them are my photos and I had heaps of fun doing this project. Unfortunately they only pick out one which is the above. It's a pity that the the other ones are not chosen, but I'm glad that I did this. I'm working on the website at the moment. So i'll blog later about that.

Origami Chair
This is a very old design of mine. Origami Chair won the student category of a COFA exhibition called "Reframe Rethink" competition (student category) 2006. It was inspired by folding origami units and stacking them together. The chair is made from 100% recycled material- rice bags, cardboard boxes and an unwanted foldable chair frame collected from the streets of my neighbourhood.
